Design Hero: Jonathan Ive

The 50s and 60s had Dieter Rams, the legendary designer behind Braun products.

We have Jonathan "Jony" Ive, Senior VP of Industrial Design at Apple Inc.

British-born Ive is the one to thank for the groundbreaking design of iMac, PowerBook G4, G4 Cube, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPod, iPhone, and the iPad. 

Ive is also a great believer in Rams' ten principles to "good design".
